Open Exhibition 2026 – Callout for Entries
We are thrilled to announce the Spring Open 2026!
Each year, The Spring hosts a vibrant Open Exhibition that showcases and celebrates art, crafts and textiles in all their forms, from artists and makers in Havant, Hampshire and the surrounding areas.
The exhibition promises something for everyone, featuring an eclectic mix of artworks that will appeal to visitors of all ages.
Past exhibitions have included a wide variety of artworks in different mediums such as painting, drawing, print, sculpture, photography, ceramics, moving images, sound, textiles, mixed media, and installations.
Looking to enter your artwork for consideration?
Visual artists and makers working in any medium are invited to submit images and supporting information about their work via our online form. Whether a seasoned professional, an enthusiastic amateur, or just love to dabble, we welcome you to share your unique creations with us.
Submissions must fit this criteria to enter:
- Work must be made within the last two years
- Can be submitted by an individual or artist collaboration (2 or more people together on a piece of work)
- Up to three works can be submitted for consideration by our expert panel
Selected artworks will be showcased within The Spring Foyer Gallery between Friday 3rd July to Saturday 19th Sept, providing a platform for talent to shine. A £100 prize will be awarded to one winning entry chosen by an independent judging panel.
Calling young artists too!
We have a dedicated young person’s category for artists and makers 25 years old and under. Submissions are free of charge to enter and there will be one additional prize for the Young Artists category.

Entry cost: £5 per piece, or free for 25 and under.
