This summer, live music takes centre stage at The Spring.

Summer Sessions is a vibrant new programme of live concerts and gigs, showcasing outstanding local talent alongside acclaimed national and international artists. From intimate acoustic sets to full-band performances spanning folk, jazz, soul, pop and more, it brings unforgettable live music to The Spring in the heart of Havant.

What to expect

• Live performances: Experience an exciting mix of live music throughout the summer, from outstanding local talent to acclaimed national and international artists. With intimate acoustic sets, full-band performances and genres spanning folk, jazz, soul, pop, rock and more, Summer Sessions is all about discovering your new favourite artist.

• Relaxed summer atmosphere: Summer Sessions transforms evenings at The Spring into a welcoming space to enjoy great music, good company and a relaxed atmosphere. Think of it as a smaller-scale summer festival experience — where you can settle in, soak up the music and enjoy a night out in the heart of Havant.

• Food & Drink: Make an evening of it with our pre-show dining options, including meat and cheese platters and veggie mezze boards available before selected performances. Our bar will be open throughout the evening serving a range of alcoholic and soft drinks, plus keep an eye out for our special Summer Sessions spotlight drink, available exclusively during the programme.

• Affordable tickets for under 25s: We want Summer Sessions to be a place for everyone to discover live music. That’s why every show includes £10 tickets for Under 25s — making it easier to experience incredible artists and enjoy live music for less.

The Courtiers

Friday 3rd July, 8pm

Drawing on traditional music influences from both sides of the Atlantic, The Courtiers are a four piece Celtic folk band creating lively and eclectic mixes of foot-stomping sounds.

Based in Portsmouth, regulars within their local folk scene and various festivals, they are known for their energy, musicianship and entertaining banter (not to mention their secret weapon, the foot-based percussive wizardry that leaves audiences both tapping their feet and scratching their heads!).

Kate Griffin & Matchume Zango

Wednesday 22nd July, 8pm

UK banjo virtuoso Kate Griffin joins Mozambican multiinstrumentalist Matchume Zango to create a joyful, uplifting sound, blending world rhythms, contemporary songwriting, and the rich textures of banjo and timbila.

Supported by a dynamic trio on drums, bass, and guitar, this live show celebrates the universal power of music to connect people – perfect for anyone curious to discover something fresh, exciting, and deeply soulful.

Track Dogs

Track Dogs

Friday 24th July, 8pm

Celebrate 20 years of irresistible rhythms and glorious four-part harmonies with international favourites Track Dogs. Formed in Madrid, this genre-blending band mixes folk, Americana, bluegrass and blues into “sunshine-y” songs that hide darker themes beneath infectious grooves.

Known for superb musicianship, rich harmonies, and feel-good energy that will have you tapping your feet—and soon enough, dancing in the aisles.

Hattie Chandler with support from Jak Chantler

Wednesday 29th July, 8pm

South Coast singer-songwriter Hattie Chandler brings her soaring vocals and rich, soulful sound to The Spring. Blending soul, americana and jazz, Hattie performs original music from her debut EP Watercolour alongside heartfelt favourites, backed by an outstanding seven piece band.

Support comes from Jak Chantler, whose expressive solo guitar weaves together classical, jazz and contemporary favourites in a beautifully crafted instrumental set.

Ultimate Madness Summer Season 2026 Web

Ultimate Madnezz

Ultimate Madness brings the spirit of the Nutty Boys to life in a fully live, high octane tribute to Madness. Expect over 100 minutes of ska-pop classics, sharp suits, infectious energy and all the swagger of one of Britain’s most beloved bands.

Packed with sing-a-long anthems, tight musicianship and non-stop bouncing about, this is the closest thing to a true Madness live show – a feelgood party from start to finish.

Coalesce

Wednesday 12th August, 6pm

Coalesce is an exciting new performance opportunity for young people. Unrestricted by genre. It is a safe place for people aged 12-25 to both perform and enjoy live music. With an open stage from 6pm-8pm, and three local headline acts from 8pm – 10pm.

Make a night of it - add a pre-show platter!

Pictured above: Meat and cheese platter that includes a selection of cold meats, cheeses, accompanied by crackers, fresh bread, grapes, pickled onions and stuffed peppers. Additional pots of honey, chutney, and chilli jam can be included.

Cheese platter that includes all of the above without the meats. This option is suitable for vegetarians.

Mezze platter includes toasted pitta bread, a selection of fresh vegetables (peppers, carrots, cucumber), olives, cocktail gherkins, breadsticks, and walnuts. Additional hummus and chilli jam can be included. This option is suitable for vegans.

Pre-show dining at The Spring
No need to be peckish before your event – pre-order one of our freshly made platters! 

With options for both meat eaters, vegetarians, vegans, and even gluten free, our platters are handmade by our team.

Join us for pre-show dining 60 minutes before the show starts to kick off your evening. Please note that pre-show platters must be booked at least 48 hours before the start time of the show.

How to get here 
Travelling to the Spring is accessible via great public transport links including a rail station less than 10-minute walk away, bus stops right outside, and bike racks available. If you are travelling via car, we are next to a council owned Pay and Display car park with two others less than 5 minutes away. For more information, please visit our How to get to us page.


Booking and accessibility

Tickets can be booked via our website, over the phone on 023 9247 2700, or in person at our Box Office during our opening times.

Most of our venue is accessible for wheelchair users with stair lift access to lower and upper level rooms. If you have any access requirements, please let our Box Office team know when booking.
