We know that life doesn’t always go to plan. That’s why The Spring is delighted to partner with Secure My Booking who offer Ticket Refund Protection.
When you purchase tickets, either online, over the phone, or at Box Office, you’ll have the option to add refund protection at checkout. For just £2 per ticket, you can feel reassured if something unexpected prevents you from attending.
Why add ticket protection?

- Flexibility: Life events like illness, travel disruption, or severe weather can get in the way — refund protection gives you a safety net.

Refund protection covers a wide range of unforeseen circumstances — including illness or injury, pregnancy, travel disruption, severe weather, family bereavement, jury service, redundancy, and more.

FAQ's
Q: Can I buy ticket refund protection for anything at The Spring?
A: Ticket refund protection can be purchased for our live events and screenings that happen within the theatre. We will be looking to extend this to our wider programme soon.
Q: Why does my refund not include the amount I paid for protection?
A: The protection fee helps Secure My Booking to manage refund applications and provide excellent customer service when customers need to apply. It is not refundable.
Q: What happens when a performance is cancelled?
A: Ticket protection doesn’t cover performances that have been cancelled. Our own terms of sale mean that all customers will be refunded the full ticket amount if a show is cancelled. It is at the discretion of Secure My Booking whether any protection fees are refunded.
Q: What if I can't submit my refund application before the show?
A: Customers have up to 60 days after the event to file an application. This gives time to gather any required documents following an incident.


How do I make a claim?
For customer refund applications and service, you can contact the Secure My Booking team 7 days a week via email, phone or live chat on their website.
