Pastel Essentials

About the Tutor:

Nic Cowper, a keen landscape artist from an early age, received his first commission for a 3-meter oil tableau of historic scenes of Havant, which is still displayed at the council’s offices and featured on the BBC’s Catalogue of Publicly Owned Art.

Over the next decade, he captured landscapes in watercolours, appreciating their portability. In 2003, Nic returned to oils, painting popular pieces like “Boys in Dune.” A brief period of pastels followed before a decade of oil painting and a rediscovery of watercolours.

Workshop dates and prices:
These workshops take place on Tuesdays, 1pm – 3pm

Term one: 16th, 23rd, 30th September. 7th, 14th, 21st October.
Half term: One week break on 28th October
Term two: 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th November. 2nd, 9th December.

Course fees
Participants can either book for a full or half term.
£150 per term (full 12 sessions)
£81 per half term (6 sessions)

Our adult workshops are open to participants aged 18 and over.
