New Ventures – an Exhibition by Chichester Festival Theatre

The Spring are delighted to host this new exhibition by CFT, celebrating the unique history of temporary theatre spaces and the important role they play supporting the development and sustainability of theatre in the regions.

Small scale theatre spaces, like The Nest and The Spring, are the beating heart of regional theatre landscapes, they are a breeding ground of creativity where new exciting ideas emerge.
The works have been carefully selected by a panel of industry experts and have been chosen for their compelling interpretation of form and subject.

They provide space for artists and theatre companies to play, experiment and create, and the intimacy of these spaces allows for a unique and important relationship with audiences, where feedback is immediate and long-lasting relationships to theatre are formed.
