Open Exhibition 2026
Every year, The Spring hosts a vibrant Open Exhibition, celebrating art, crafts, and textiles in all their forms from artists and makers in Havant, Hampshire, and surrounding areas.
Visual artists and makers working in any medium are invited to submit images and supporting information via our online form. Whether you are a seasoned professional, a passionate hobbyist, or simply enjoy experimenting, we welcome your unique creations.
Submission Criteria:
- Up to three works may be submitted for consideration.
- All work must be created within the last two years.
- Submissions may be from an individual or a collaborative group.(2 or more people together on a piece of work)
Selected works will be displayed at The Spring, giving artists a platform to shine. One winning entry will receive a £100 prize, selected by an independent judging panel.
Calling young artists too! We have a dedicated young person’s category for artists and makers 25 years old and under. Submissions are free of charge to enter and there will be one additional prize for the Young Artists category.
Entry cost: £5 per piece, or free for 25 and under.
Deadline for submissions: Monday 8th June 2026, 3pm
