about his daughter’s secret marriage. Shakespeare brings to this dark but magical fairy tale the feisty princess Imogen, a sleazy Italian, two lost princes, a wicked stepmother, a handsome hero and an idiotic villain - not to mention war with the Roman Empire!
The Bench Theatre Company’s adaptation breathes new life and
colour into this rarely performed masterpiece.
