 The Anglo-Saxons in Havant

The talk will look at the archaeological evidence for Anglo-Saxon activity in the Havant area from the late 6^th century AD onwards. The bulk of the material comes from cemeteries, and in particular, the cemetery focussed on the Neolithic long barrow, Bevis’s Grave, on Camp Down, Bedhampton, excavated in the mid 1970s.
