![]() ![]() This exhibition of local artefacts dates back beyond the original Roman settlements through to recent times. Many of the artefacts will be familiar to visitors of the previous Museum and include: the stocks and whipping post, Scalextric, St Faith’s Church Turret Clock, Stents leather, a 1900’s police truncheon and much more. The History of the Borough of Havant is divided into themes: In addition visitors can: The Research Room with its local archive and map collection has been moved to a bigger space and has been greatly improved with the help and support of the Friends of Havant Museum. It is an area to study local history and has two internet access Developed as a partnership between The Spring Arts & Heritage Centre and Hampshire County Council Museums & Archives Service. |
