A Night Less Ordinary

A Night Less Ordinary

Under 26? Fancy a FREE night at the theatre?
A Night Less Ordinary is an Arts Council England scheme in association with Metro, that will provide 618,000 free theatre tickets to anyone under 26 in more than 100 venues across England over the next year or so.

The Spring Arts & Heritage Centre is taking part by offering a limited number of free tickets to selected shows to anyone under the age of 26. We hope that the scheme will encourage young individuals to try out a new experience or be able to enjoy what they already love for free! There are some limits on the number of tickets that any individual can have - this is to make sure that we can make the tickets as widely available as possible.

There is also a limited number available for each show, so if you want tickets, you will need to book as early as possible! You will need to show proof of age and tickets cannot be exchanged for other events or exchanged for tickets already bought. To claim your free ticket, simply phone us and make your booking quoting 'A Night Less Ordinary' or you can book over the counter.

FAQ's
How many tickets can I have?
You can book tickets for a maximum of 2 performances per season.

Q1.  Can I sit where I like? What if I'm coming with paying customers (i.e. parents/friends over 26)?
A1.  Yes, you can sit in any seat that has not already been sold. If you are coming with paying customers and you book at the same time, we can make sure that you are sitting together, subject to availability.

Q2.  What if I've requested tickets and can't make it?
A2.  You need to let us know as soon as possible if you can't come to a performance that you have requested tickets for. We don't want to have to turn people away and then be left with empty seats. If your tickets are left uncollected, we reserve the right to not offer you any further free tickets through this scheme.

Q3.  Can I book for Youth Theatre and Children's performances or anything else with ANLO?
A3.  No, at the moment The Spring has applied the scheme to Adult Theatre performances ONLY.

Q4.  Can I book online?
A4.  Unfortunatley we are unable to offer this facility - you will need to call the Box Office on 023 9247 2700

Conditions:
The Spring reserves the right to limit tickets for particular shows as deemed appropriate. If you have already purchased tickets, these cannot be exchanged for free tickets. Free tickets may only be used by under 26 year olds. Proof of age will be required in all cases. If you claim free tickets and do not use them, we reserve the right to refuse you any further free tickets. As tickets are limited no individual may request more than a total of 2 free tickets per season. Parents / guardians may request free tickets on behalf of an under 26 year old. Free tickets are not available to school groups or other party bookings
