Part Two: Plotting a novel, pace/tension and how to edit over-writing, chapter and novel endings, writing the beginning of a novel

One of the keys to a great novel is to learn how to plot, via a brief synopsis which outlines the chapters ahead. Using a template you will then get a chance to plot out your own book. She will discuss, using examples from published work, that all-important opening paragraph to your novel and you will have time to write your own and have it critiqued.
