William Grant’s Havant

William Grant began painting I earnest in his late teens and carried on for over half a century, during which time he captured images of Havant and the surrounding area and its people.

His favourite medium was watercolour but this didn’t prevent him from capturing strength of character in his sitters, nor indeed the vivid colours of the summer gardens and landscape surrounding the town he loved.
