Friends of Havant Museum Present The History of Warblington Castle.

Come along to this fascinating talk on the history of Warblington Castle. Located near Langstone, the Castle was once a grand medieval manor. In the late 15th Century during the period of the Wars of the Roses, the Castle was taken in ownership by the usurper King and founder of the Tudor dynasty –Henry VII. It has been suggested that Queen Elizabeth I stayed here in 1586. Today the turret, archway, gate and drawbridge are all that remain. To find out more of this Castles fascinating history join us on Tuesday 12th March at 7pm.
